Boris Debackere
Biography
Boris Debackere is an artist and researcher, currently serving as the lab director of V2_, an instigator of artistic projects which interrogate and illuminate contemporary issues in art, science, technology, and society. The mission of V2_Lab is to produce works of art with conceptual clarity and high production values, providing a framework for artistic research and development bringing together artists, technicians and scientist to work in the field of art and technology. Debackere teaches at Transmedia department form LUCA School of Arst. As a media artist his main interest is the possible integration of different expressions forms, with an emphasis on electronic sound and image.
