Geert Goiris
Biography
Geert Goiris (1971) teaches practise-based research at the Royal Academy for Fine Arts in Antwerpen, and is a visiting lecturer at the Gerrit Rietveld Academy in Amsterdam, the Institut supérieur des arts de Toulouse, en at CEPV Vevey (CH).
He has held solo-exhibitions at Museum M. te Leuven (B), Hamburger Kunsthalle (D), CAB Burgos (E), Kunstforum Basel (CH) and Le Crédac in Ivry-sur-Seine (F), and his work was included in numerous collective exhibitions at venues such as such as Palais de Tokyo, jeu de Paume, Paris, the Museo de Arte Contemporaneo in Santiago de Chili, Le Nouveau Musée National de Monaco, FRAC Bourgogne, Casino Luxembourg, and at the Gallery of Modern Art in Brisbane.
