Stéphane Sauzedde

Stéphane Sauzedde, born in 1973, is director of the ESAAA - École Supérieure d’Art in the greater Annecy Area. He works with a pluralist approach that combines academic research (as an art historian, he is affiliated with a Lyon-Grenoble Universities research unit known as LARHRA–UMR CNRS, researching issues of the production of contemporary art), curatorship (he founded OUI art center in Grenoble, where he has organized numerous projects), publishing activities (he regularly writes on theoretical issues and the work of young artists – for exemple, with Nicolas Thély, Basse def, partage de données, Dijon, Les presses du réel, 2009 ; ou « Roland Barthes – Accuser réception de l’oeuvre de Philippe Thomas », in Retours d’y voir n°5, Genève, Editions du Mamco, 2012.), and the organization of wide-ranging projects.
