SHARE is an international networking project comprising 39 partners from across Europe working together on enhancing the 3rd cycle of arts research and education in Europe.

SHARE is jointly coordinated by GradCAM, the Graduate School of Creative Arts and Media (Dublin) and ELIA, the European League of Institute of the Arts.

GRADUATE SCHOOLS

work package 1
Expanding existing programmes and networks
A sub-network of Graduate Schools, National Fellowship Programmes, Research Centres and similar initiatives already fully active in doctoral research in the arts.
 

DEVELOPMENT 3RD CYCLE EDUCATION

Starting new programmes
Developing 3rd cycle arts education in the first stages of development, building on partnerships within previous ERASMUS Networks.

A forum for artists, researchers and supervisors
Setting forth the EUFRAD European Forum for Research Degrees in Fine Art and Design.

ADVOCACY

workpackage 4
Making research in the arts visible
The transversal Advocacy work package aims to raise the visibility and the level of recognition in Europe for research in the arts in design, visual and performing arts, and creative/digital media.
 

VALIDATION

work package 5
Quality control and peer review
The Validation work package makes a quality plan and is concerned with internal quality control, peer review and liaises with existing and new arts research journals / publications / databases in order to expand the options for artist-researchers to publish their results.
 

DISSEMINATION

work package 6
Conferences, symposia and a publication
Communicating and sharing results with arts teachers, researchers, research and education bodies and the cultural sector.
